On the BEYOND page there is a choice of 5 meditations where your meditation practice expands and deepens. The five meditations here are known as the Deeper 5. Each one unfolds over 6 to 8 weeks, allowing the practice to settle gently and reveal its deeper benefits over time.
Each theme opens a unique doorway into greater awareness, offering tools not only to steady the mind but to connect with the richness of your inner experience.
Witness Consciousness
As the name suggests Witness Consciousness is witnessing our consciousness.
This meditation is an opportunity to quieten the mind through observation, informing us of our ability to view our thoughts. Having an ability to be detached from our thoughts is a real skill.
More deeply this meditation allows us to see the patterns our thoughts take and the emotional content they direct us toward. Ultimately we can infuse feelings into our meditations which override any negative patterns we observe.
Spiritual Joy
Imagine feeling Joy whenever you required it. The ability to harness higher emotions is a skill meditators look to develop. This could be seen as a super power. Spiritual Joy is the meditation we advise everyone to try at least once.
Anti Anxiety
Anxiety is a natural reaction we all can experience during periods of uncertainty. It has been suggested our fast-paced modern world has made us all more vulnerable to the experience of anxiety.
This makes our understanding of how anxiety works an education we should all embark upon, and even more importantly, to develop tools with the ability to mitigate its expression.
The Anti Anxiety meditation teaches us about the process of anxiety and how to remedy it.
The Immeasurable
When was the last time you felt love for yourself? We work for the things we want and need, we exercise, we take time out with friends and family. We do an awful lot, both for ourselves and others. We may think we love ourselves by our actions, but have you ever sat down and actively pursued this feeling toward yourself?
This may seem strange! Before practising meditation, this concept will be alien for most people, but when you practise the feeling of loving yourself you realise its importance.
The Immeasurable is a meditation which explores and expands on the need to love both ourselves and others. The term immeasurable in this instance, means the immeasurable amount of love you have, when you tap into it.
The Chakras
Chakras are an interesting phenomena.
Most people due to the emergence of yoga may have heard of them, however less is known about what they are.
Ancient texts revised and updated to our present day describe an energetic system within our bodies. At points along our midline this energy collects to form energy centres known as chakras. Ancient China and India built systems of health around their understanding of these chakras.
It is believed balanced chakras led to a balanced life.
In this section you will begin to understand how to feel your chakras.
Our chakras lend themselves to different characteristics. We won’t develop our knowledge of these characteristics yet, but what we will do is become accustomed to their location, practise feeling into them, and ultimately learn how to nourish them.
